  • I’m voting for McCain/Palin – for obvious reasons LOL
Everything they stand for, supports what I believe as a Christian!!

  • Voting for McCain, a conservative!

  • McCain/Palin
There is a spiritual election going on too! We as christians have to vote for those who stand for what we believe. Turn from our wicked ways and become a Holy Nation again.

  • McCain /Palin

  • McCain/Palin

  • McCain/Palin. Or is it Palin/McCain. The media is acting as though Palin is running against Clinton for President. It was a very smart move on McCain’s part to choose her as his vice. Maybe even too smart. ;) She has all of the Clinton supporters who were planning to vote for her simply for the fact that she is a woman. You know, I’ve noticed that a lot of people who I know were considering a Clinton vote are now getting interested and informed on both Palin and Clinton and have realized that they had blinders on when it came to Clinton, because “it’s time for a woman President…” or “…she would be the first woman President…it would truly free women…” blah, blah, blah. Now, as people are seeing Palin step up, -such a contrast to Clinton- they realize that they were not looking at WHO Clinton is, but WHAT she is: female. Of course, we might could argue that, but that’s not relevant here, so I won’t mention it. Just joking. =)

I also think that Palin took a lot of the attention away from Obama/Biden. Not that Biden had any attention in the first place. Come to think of it, I don’t know much about him at all, but I’m sure he’s all nice and “Bideny” and stuff. Haha. But I think there was just getting to be so much hype because of the inspirational speeches about “change,” that the Republican side was being lost. Not in the hearts of those of us who took the time to educate ourselves, but the media let them almost fall out of the picture, replacing Hillary Clinton with Michelle Obama.

I think that this will be the “change” in leadership that America needs (esp. regarding the war), but I also say that this will not “fix” her. “We the people” are responsible for that and a Christian vote is only one step along the way. Her brokenness did not come by the President alone and, in the long run, he will contribute little to her healing.

  • I have been involved with polotics all my life and this year I am completly disgusted with the republicans this election year. Not just the presidential election. First of all there is one major thing that everyone is forgetting. In the Constitution of the United States of America ..which by the way Obama has taught for many years.. we have the freedom of religion!! So in the eyes of the constitution and the writers of it they wanted freedom of religion. So anyone basing their dissision on canidates religious beliefs needs to vote for something other than the President of the United States. That is not a qualification of the President!

In fact the republicans have not portrayed any of the Christian ways that they claim they believe in. I was raised in a Christian home and the way they have gone about their campaign any Christian should be ashamed of..they are lowering themselves and encouraging supporters to act in the same dirty, backstabing, lying, unchristian ways. Unfortunetly the supporters are following them instead of encouraging them to step up. I would prefer Christians not to vote at all if they are going to vote for McCain/Palin. My respect for my friends/family that are voting for them has decreased and I am disappointed in them.
Ok I’ll shut up now. :)

  • I haven’t left a comment before but I am supporting McCain/Palin. Because everything that Obama stands for I am against. I am not that crazy about McCain. I think Palin is a pretty incredible woman. I agree more with their ticket in keeping government less and people in charge of their lives more.

  • Honestly I’m not really liking either of the canidates…However…If I had to vote today it would be McCain…

  • I am a deployed soldier currently in Iraq and if anyone knows the importance of this vote we do. The people that set at home and watch CNN all day and draw there conclusions about the “War” in Iraq should be the last ones to listen to when it comes to the subject. Talk to some of the men and women that have been there and see what is really going on. Sorry, I just have a hard time with people who talk about the war and have only watched it on TV like a mini-series. When you see little kids that have stepped on an IED while out walking there sheep and a car load of people that drove by a little to close to a car bomb. If these people saw this and understood that we are making a difference over here. Freedom doesn’t come cheap and these protestors should get a taste of what it costs. How do you think our troops feel when they see these ill informed people waving there signs and shouting that we are fighting for nothing.

Just a thought from someone who has seen just a little of what is going on in Iraq.

  • I am voting for McCain/Palin
